The implementation of archiving that has been carried out by a Notary, is closely related to the regulation of the Notary protocol which has been regulated in Law No. 30 of 2004 concerning the Position of Notary with Amendments through Law No. 2 of 2014. Some of the challenges faced by Notaries through archiving methods that still require storage in physical form. This becomes risky in the event of a natural disaster, documents are lost or cannot be found, or duplication by irresponsible parties. In this article, we discuss the possibility of integrating blockchain-based technology to provide convenience as an alternative to storage with digital media. Furthermore, it discusses the use of blockchain to help the efficiency of Notary document storage, so that Notaries no longer need to experience difficulties in dealing with the possibility of problems that cause the Authentic Deed they make to be damaged or destroyed.
