The pharmaceutical, medical device, and medical services industries are utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to assist with every stage of research, development, and patient care. Nonetheless, concerns about the use of AI in healthcare include worries about data bias and its potential effects on patients. As a result, there are many issues that need to be considered when implementing artificial intelligence (AI) into the healthcare system in a fair and ethical manner. Based on this explanation, the issues in the research are how artificial intelligence (AI) is used in healthcare; the roles played by various parties’ doctors, patients, healthcare providers, platform and application providers and the legal responsibility for the use of AI in healthcare. In doing so, this research utilizes a normative juridical approach. To achieve this, legal and conceptual methods were used. AI is used in the medical field for many things, such as identifying therapeutic targets, creating new drugs, and analyzing clinical data to accelerate new drug discovery. Vicarious liability can be applied to deal with actions or events caused by Artificial Intelligence or AI that are harmful or unlawful. Legal, ethical, and social aspects should be considered while developing AI for healthcare. It should also ensure that the technology used meets strict data security and privacy standards.
