Adoption is a legal process in which a couple or individual takes over the responsibility of being a parent to a child who is not officially their biological child. This is done for various reasons, one of which can occur because the child's biological parents are unable to provide sufficient and adequate support for the child. The adoption process for adult children can now be carried out via E-Court to simplify the application process, in this case the registration of child adoption cases. The Lamongan Class IB District Court is a court under the auspices of the Supreme Court which has implemented the E-Court system as a form of implementation of the Republic of Indonesia Supreme Court Regulation Number 7 of 2022. This research discusses the resolution of civil cases of child adoption (adoption) through the E-Court system in the Court Lamongan State Class IB. This research aims to analyze the process, obstacles and solutions for using E-Court in resolving civil cases, especially adoption. The method used is descriptive analysis by collecting data through literature study and interviews. The research results show that the application of E-Court in resolving civil child adoption cases provides easy access, time efficiency and transparency of the legal process, although there were several obstacles experienced during the implementation of E-Court itself, but these have been resolved with the solutions provided by the District Court Lamongan Class IB.
